  1. By working on the Web design assignment, I acquired many new skills. I had never created a website before and this was my first time. Because of this, I initially had some difficulty. However, while working through the process I got the hang of it and was able to finish my website. I actually had a lot of fun doing it! I like that it was easy to navigate, but I wish that there were more layout options. In the future, I will use what I learned to create a page for my classroom. This will have information about my class that is accessible to students as well as parents. https://rileyrotheme2040.weebly.com/ 

  2. Working with Diigo taught me a lot. I learned how to communicate and share ideas with peers in one space. These applications can be useful in the classroom because it will give my students and I a place to engage with each other. I can use it to work with team members to collaborate and share ideas. 

  3. Technology is how people stay aware of changes. Technology also plays a big role in teaching and in the classroom. The site “Education Technology” can be very useful when staying updated on technology trends in education. This website gives you modern technology being used in the classroom and descriptions of them. In addition, it even gives links to buy the featured products.     Hi Riley! I checked out your website and I thought it was great! It was super easy to navigate, which was awesome. Something I did notice was that you had a lot of empty space on your webpages. I would definitely recommend using photos or other layout elements to fill it up. Other than that, great job!

    Hey Riley! Had fun on your website! I loved how easy it was to use. Everything was easy to read and had a lot of visuals. Not all the buttons on the menu list at the bottom of the home page work but the side menu does. Loved the contact page and search bar. To echo Cristina, there was a good amount of negative space but I think the overall effort was good and made the site easy to use.

  I learned a lot from completing Assignment 5 PowerPoint Interaction. For example, I learned how to hyperlink to a different page on the same PowerPoint. I also learned how to disable the “next” setting on the PowerPoint. Although I had a sound on a PowerPoint slide, it was not the correct way. I struggled figuring out how to do this. Next time, I will make sure to improve this when adding sound.  As a teacher, I will definitely use data collection (surveys) in my classroom. I may teach elementary school, therefore there is not one single subject to teach. However, I could collect data such as the student’s grades on a test. I could compare the data between my students and see the average test grade.
